The Orchard Revamp-Good Or Bad Move ? - review added on Mon 7th May 2007
Our first visit to The Orchard since it became part of the Harvester chain was a bit of a let down, it appears making money is the main concern, but at what expense? When this was a Brewer's Fayre restaurant it was fantastic! It was very family orientated , with an excellent children's play area,which has sadly been removed to make way for further seating for diners! Bad move!The service is still excellent, and the food is great. This was originally one of the few places that was very children friendly, but money talked and the play area walked !!!!!

THE WAIT WAS HORRENDOUS, RAW CHIPS FOOD COLD, AWFUL SERVICE. I WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN
