Customer Reviews for Waterside Inn - Bray-on-Thames

Yes. It is very expensive, but at the same time this undoubtedly the best restaurant in England, and one of the very finest in the world. Arriving is like stepping back in time being greeted by people who actually care - it is absolutely perfect. I recommend you have a drink in the summer house before going to your table, or even outside overlooking the river in summer. Everyone is just so nice, you feel so welcome and the food is the best you'll taste in a long time. More than worth the price. It's a complete experience.

3 star?? - review added on Thu 21st Jul 2005

Yes, the restaurant lived up to its star billing. Unfortunately they charged my credit card twice for a visit in April and I've gone through literal HELL attempting to resolve the matter and obtain a refund. BEWARE!
