Chequers is back to it's best! - review added on Mon 25th Aug 2008
Came in Sunday 24th August 2008, after having previously been in to a poor show. We were told it was under new management so thought we would give it another try. They did not fail to impress, service was outstanding, polite, professional and courteous staff, had to wait a little longer than normal for our desserts but they were extremely busy so we did not mind. The new management team have obviously got their strategy correct this time. After speaking to Jason (the manager) we felt reassured and comforted to know that whenever I come for a meal with my family it would always be a good time. Let's hope this manager stays and I wish Jason and his team all the best for the future!

table of 6 for a sunday lunch carvery, fully booked restaraunt, nice surroundings, little noisy but would highly recommend to other people
