Pick a good time to go to this pub for the food. Its a bit hit and miss. The first time we went we were quite suprised how good the food was for the money we paid. The chicken cajouns were fantastic and the sandwiches were great.However our second visit during the week was a resounding miss with service being slow, food being cold and overcooked. The first time there were 3 mainly full plates going back. Staff were also unhelpful about doing anything about the problem and were more interested in chatting to their boyfriends or blaming things on not having responsibility to fix things.So if you get the right chef, it'll shine but if not then it may leave a sour taste in your mouth.
