Unique serving method (i.e. presenting each choice of course prior to requesting your decision) does little to hide the disappointingly "average"quality of the food. The menu apparently changes daily, so I can't recommend a dish - go for what looks good! It seems that you pay for the 7 courses (all sensibly sized) rather than the quality of the food. What's more the Edwardian decor could do with patching up; it's all a bit tacky and tatty. Pleasant enough but I wouldn't make a trip back.
