One of my favourite places to eat out in Bristol, whether its for a quick lunch or a relaxed evening meal. The atmosphere is great and the food lovely. I highly recommend the coffee too!Saturday night's can be a little livelier than expected due to the prominence of all the local bars.

Normally Good But Very Disappointing Sunday Service - review added on Sun 23rd Nov 2008
I normally like this restaurant and have dined there often since the staff are helpful, friendly and it offers good value for money. However our party of eight dined there this evening and quite frankly we weren't impressed. We arrived after 8pm i.e. not for there early bird 2 for 1 offer, and we didn't order an insignificant amount of food and drink. The food was of passable quality (though one of the pizzas we ordered was burnt and we sent it back). The service was not at all friendly nor attentive and by 9.30pm the music had been switched off and there was a strong smell of bleach pervading the restaurant. We were told that the restaurant was closing for the evening around 9.45pm and we needed to settle the bill (even though they should have remained open until 11pm). If that wasn't enough they normally do not add a service charge since tipping is at the discretion of the diners. This time however a charge of 10% was automatically added! Normally the staff are deserving of a tip far in excess of 10% but on this occasion 10% was far too generous. To automatically be charged this in this instance was presumptuous to say the least. Clearly Planet Pizza aren't feeling the credit crunch and best of luck to them since they shan't be enjoying my custom again.

We absolutely love Planet Pizza!!!! Such great food, great service and it's worth every penny! I've been going here for years and never had a bad meal, well worth a visit if you haven't been yet...
