A rich man slimming spa - review added on Mon 26th Nov 2001
This is a very overly priced restaurant. When you order fried mixed vegetables, you only get minimal amounts!! Enough to fill a baby monkey perhaps but for us humans, no good!!

Food is OK...ish, but I've certainly had a lot better for a lot less money.Restaurant is a quaint basement level affair, which is either cramped or cozy depending on your point of view.Service lets down an already mediocre affair, with a uninterested waiter who wouldnt know saltimbocca from a fried egg.

I'm afraid i have to agree with the other reviews. You would think that such a quaint town as cambridge would not allow venues like this to operate in such prominent areas of the city - it WILL get a bad name for dining out!

Very Bad. - review added on Sun 21st May 2006
The main dining room in the cellars smelled damp so much, we had to get upstairs. We could not see King's college though, because the blind were down. The food was bad, overpriced and in tiny portion. An example: As a starter they have "frois gras pate". They obviously meant "foie gras pate". Except it was "pate de foie"and not "foie gras". Huge difference! Waiter did not speak English and did not know what a decaf was.
