Reasonable - review added on
This bar/cafe/restaurant is one of a small chain, and appears deceptively small from the outside, widening out at the back.Mid-week, the place was full, but a last minute cancellation moved us from the bar to a table within five minutes. The fixed price menu had a decent choice at a reasonable cost (for a UK French restaurant).Bottles of wine started at just under £10, with an interesting option of a glass each from a listed selection for a fixed price, either wines or champagne...The atmosphere was friendly and warm. Service was relatively quick and pleasant, but watch out for the service tip being included (I believe).

Not so grand - review added on Thu 28th Aug 2003
Good food but what really lets this place down is the front of house people - too snooty for the business' own good. Either they want repeat custom or they don't.After all this place isn't the Ritz and I and my partner were willing to spend our money here but this time ending up just walking away. Too much pretentious uming and areing...and the place was almost empty. Get your etiquette right!
