Outstanding quality and freshness of food. Inspiring menu served in a stone floored 17th century mill. Light and airy conservatory bar opening on to mill pond. Pre-dinner drinks are often enjoyed in the company of the visiting ducks from the adjacent pond! Service is warm, friendly and unimposing. The confidence the staff have in the establishment in obvious in their manner.

Great place to do lunch - review added on Thu 4th Mar 2004
Lovely setting, attentive staff, imaginative and well-cooked food. Only gripe was the portion sizes (we went for lunch) - my husband's organic battered salmon came with 6 chips. It surely wouldn't break the bank to increase the veg a bit?
