Gidleigh Outstanding in Every Way - review added on Sat 17th Mar 2001

The Gidleigh Park Hotel and Restaurant, a perennial award winning facility, is well known to those who follow gourmet restaurant and wine reviews. A visit there is surely one of life's memorable treats. We found Gidleigh Park outstanding in every way from its sensitively prepared scrumptious food and its huge selection of wines, to its understated but impecible service and gracious decor. Gidleigh is an expensive experience yet worth it. It is gratifying to know there are still places in the world where commitment to excellence prevails
