Bohemia in Central London - review added on Sat 8th Jan 2000
This tiny little place near Centre Point has great atmosphere; all walls and the ceiling have been painted with historic figures and quotations - plus a few bits of wisdom. Not dark and claustrophobic, though.Service is a bit arbitrary, but very friendly and helpful. The food? a limited menu, which changes as the mood takes (photocopy offered; only the wine list is permanent). The meal is nicely cooked and presented, and does have a genuine french taste (It's all in the herbs, apparently).

Eccentric, but all the better for it - review added on Wed 23rd May 2001
A quaint little place on the edge of Bloomsbury, the menu is eclectic European, as are the staff! The atmosphere is a little 'out of time' with thoughts, quotations and cartoons pinted across the walls and ceiling. Service is unhurried, but as efficient as needs be, and with a rich variety of accents.Look in the window first, else you risk being bannished to the basement, if busy!
