Not bad overall - review added on
Having had a drink here on a hot day last summer, we thought we'd try this place out for a meal, since it is almost next door to the Tate Modern art gallery and not far from the London Eye. Under-14s are not allowed inside, which does make the restaurant quieter but means that families have to sit outside - great during the summer but on a cold April day it isn't so appealing.Having gotten drinks (reasonably priced with a good selection of real cask ales) we sat down - as an asthmatic I was pleased to see an air-conditioned non-smoking area - and then chose what we want. The menu was typical of a decent pub - I went for a hot chicken baguette with chips and salad. To order, we had to go to the food order point - there was no waiter service other than to receive your food. But the waiters were very friendly, which I guess was a plus-point.The food tasted good and was cooked properly, and the salad tasted fresh. Time restrictions meant I didn't have time for a starter or a dessert, but if the main course was anything to go by, I would have liked to have one. Though the main course was rather filling, so my stomach may have exploded if I did.The toilet facilities were clean and modern, as they should be.All in all, a good experience, and somewhere that I'd recommend to others.
