Antonio was visiting on a busy Saturday afternoon to enlighten, entertain and enthuse a reticent British public about his passion for the ubiquitous mushroom!Having been in his wonderful company only a few days before at the launch party of his ninth restaurant in St Albans, my wife and I decided to enjoy a casual lunch inside. Typically, the food was fresh, perfectly presented and delicious, as only a carluccio restaurant can deliver - and extremely well priced. As a recent acquaintance of Antonio and his lovely wife, Priscilla, I can only congratulate this food genius on gifting his passion for fresh Italian food on the Brits. May Carluccios' restaurants spring up all across the UK - heaven knows we need restaurateurs who care about what the public consume!
