Food OK, bad service - review added on Tue 15th Aug 2006
Unfortunately I will have to add a negative note to the previous review. We had been eating in Azuura with a company of ten people. After ordering in this restaurant two of the people in our company (included myself) were presented with a different dish than that they ordered. We deceided not to send the food back because all the others were already having their dish, and we thought that maybe we might have made a mistake ourselves while ordering. Suprisingly enough we found out later that the correct dish was shown on the bill. When we brought this to the attentian of the staff it appeared that they were well aware that they had been mistaken but they had been trying to fool us because they thought we were either too stupid to recognize our dish, or too polite to complain.Even afterwards no apalogies were made whatsoever,Shame shame shame! If you like good food and don't care about service, go eat in this restaurant

Worse than mediocre. A table for 2 at 8.15 on a Saturday night at Gun wharf is hard to come by without booking. I think that tells you something already! We had a long wait for our starter, which was only one portion of garlic bread with cheese. The bread was hard and not of a texture disposed to absorbing butter. The garlic was conspicuous by its absence and there was not very much cheese, the dish was barely warm - not a success. I ordered the penne with meatballs. When this dish arrived at table it was actually cold. I informed the waitress who seemed unconcerned but eventually she removed the plate. When the dish came back it was luke warm and had obviously been ‘popped in the microwave’. My boyfriend had a steak dish. The steak was over cooked and stringy. The potatoes were very nice as were the French beans. My dish was revolting. The pasta was overcooked; the sauce appeared to be a small quantity of tinned tomatoes. No garlic, no olive oil, no herbs! Italian food – I think not. The meatballs (5) were horrid; tasteless, dry and with some unpleasant gristly bits. I would not return to this restaurant ever.
