Fawlty Towers has nothing on this - review added on Mon 5th Mar 2007
I took my student son out for lunch on Saturday, having booked table in advance for 1.30pm. The food was fine: fish fresh and cooked well if a little unimaginative. However the service was absolutely appalling. The waiter (manager?) was more interested in the football match on the radio and from the start gave the impression that he didn't want us there. Our meal was accompanied by loud whoops from the kitchen area, including some mildly bad language. Having paid (over £100 for two including service) and whilst we were finishing our coffee he told us to hurry up as they wanted to close. Apart from being downright rude, this is not the attitude I would expect at a restaurant that charges these sort of prices. Needless to say, I shall not be going back again.

Good food, but pricey - review added on Sat 10th Mar 2007
I've eaten here twice and had an enjoyable meal both times. The waiting staff we very good both times, but on my second visit the manager did not seem happy that we were all drinking water (it was a very hot day and we were about to attend my graduation, so I certainly wasn't going to be drinking!)You can choose from a fairly short menu, but most people will instead select a fish from the fresh counter at the back of the restaurant. There is a wide range to choose from, and you can have it cooked however you like. You pay by the gram though, so it can get expensive, especially if you go for a larger fish.
