This is an outstanding Thai restaurant. The food is generally excellent and service professional and considerate. The setting is unique in The Gunwharf Quay area especially in the summer months when one can dine outside.

As you serve Ken Hom menus I would appreciate an email address or contact address for Mr.Hom please? He needs to know about the service that is provided by his representatives in the UK.

Very good. - review added on Sun 10th Apr 2005
A very good restaurant, with excellent attention from the staff the moment you walk in the door. Drinks orders were taken as soon as you are settled at your table, and delivered shortly after. The main orders were taken and dishes served promptly, although there was a slight feeling of being rushed from one course to the next. The menus are excellent and dishes served piping hot and well presented. I only have two criticisms, we had a table next to the window and due to the smoked glass, people on the boardwalk outside often stood very close to the glass peering in - a little disconcerting, and lastly, the amount of noise within the restaurant was incredible, admittedly from some of the other patrons and not the staff, it is not really acceptable that you should leave an establishment such as this with your ears ringing - not the ideal restaurant for those quiet 'dinner for two' events.

Recommended Dishes: The fixed menus are excellent, and individual dishes are identified with their county of origin.
A Wonderful Experience - review added on Sat 22nd Oct 2005
From the moment we sat down at an outside table, the service was prompt and courteous - a refreshing change from the usual British service! The menu is one of the most appetising I have ever seen and the only problem was choosing! We had a divine lunch including the Laksa and Firecracker rice. Both dishes were so lovely and fresh, served promptly again with charm and quiet professionalism. I have never enjoyed a restaurant so much and we have since visited the Bournemouth branch where the food is good though the service not quite the same!I cannot reccomend this restaurant highly enough - since we have moved to Scotland, I live in hope that Mr Hom will please open a restaurant up here!
