Warm Welcome. - review added on Tue 13th Dec 2005
With a warm smaile, everyone at the farmers home is a delight. Recently visited to have a small light bite, however, I was enticed to see what else thay had to offer. Eventually, after the long lists of food available, I settled for smoked salmon and prawns as a starter, and a stilton fillet cook medium well. What a treat. The starter was set out lovely on the plate, and the fillet was cooked to perfection. The sauce was excellent, and the amount of vegetables and choices of potato available, I was overwhelmed. It was a lovely meal, and I was offered a sweet menu - I didn't think I could fit one in, but I had a look anyway. Most of the sweets were homemade, and I was pleased I did have a look. So much choice. I was very happy with my meal, and it wasnt too expensive. I wouldn't have expected any less. I enjoyed my meal very much, and can't wait to take my friends for a meal there. Good quality food doesn't cost a thing in my book.

Friendly, Efficient, Excellent. - review added on Wed 20th Dec 2006
We (4 adults and a child under 3) visited on December 3 2006. There was an eating area completely cut off from the small bar area. The food was varied, interesting and excellently delivered. The service from the young staff was top quality with smiles. One of the best places to eat in a Hampshire pub.
