What a shame the old owners left! - review added on Wed 19th Jul 2006
I used to absolutely adore Augustines restaurant, what a shame it was passed over to new ownership though! The service was the best in town, the staff were so freindly and good humoured, also to the best standards!The food was incredible! There really was nothing else quite like it in Canterbury. I truly miss my friday and saturday evening meals in the lovely cosy restaurant. Unfortunately, now i feel that the new owners have tried to make as much money out of the restaurant as possible, forcing in more tables, and rushing service.

Service was prompt with friendly efficient and welcoming staff.Food was delicious and well priced - good value for money.Looking forwards to returning - a very pleasant evening's dining.
