I have to say my experience of Marlowe's was not a good one. Firstly they messed up my reservations. Subsequently, in a loud crowded restaurant, we *3) were seated on a rocky, cramped table. Starters of Japanese prawns and Nachos were served rapidly, but lacked in distinct quality. For main course, I had the Marlowe Canterby Pie with herb mash which should be avoided as a result of the large amount of salt added. My companions had the Marriage ribs and the warm shredded duck which were tasty.Aftr a long wait, our plated were removed, desserts of Chicago Chessecake served which could be described as not being chessecake!! NOt very nice at all.
