The Best Indian in TW. - review added on Sun 29th Oct 2006
Been to most of the Indians in town and LGT is definitely the best. It doesn't feel the need to pamper to the current obsession with minimal or standard Indian cuisine that doesn't pamper to the current obsession for minimal or 'funky' dining rooms but is unashamedly old fashioned in its presentation. I've eaten there on a number of occasions and am always pleased to go back. The service is efficient and courteous and the food is always excellent - particularly the Balti dishes. It's nice to taste Indian food that has been well cooked, and doesn't have the 'out of the jar' vibe that so many do restaurants are guilty of today. The complimntary rose for the ladies is a nice touch and always appreciated and the staff are very generous with their offers of 'on the house' cocktails.A great restaurant.

Are you crazy for curry? - review added on Fri 28th Dec 2007
If so then the next time you stop off at Tunbridge Wells try the Langton Green Tandoori and i guarantee, you will not be disappointed! The food is great, the service is excellent, the whole resturant has an old-fashioned indian resturant feel to it - not the new minimalistic retro resturant/bars curry houses you have now - just good old-fashioned furniture and decor with superb quality of food.
