The place to good for a treat - expensive and small portions, but the food and service are excellent. Extensive wine list.

Started well as a London restaurant in Tunbridge Wells. Got its first Michelin Star and is heading for it's second. It just gets better and better. The food is exemplary. This is not big portions, stuff it down grub. This is "Art"food, designed to delight all the senses. The meals must be experienced and savoured and never rushed to get the full benefit. Personally I hate liver so I made myself eats theirs. All I can say is it's sublime and I've had it twice now.The service is formal but if you talk to the staff they loosen up but it's up to you. If you like it formal just ignore them otherwise have a chat with the Maitre D. You'll soon discover how enthusiastic they all are about the food.I also like the way that none of the dining areas are too crowded. You get a real sense of privacy and space. The decor is bland but non offensive neutral backdrop than a startling art display. The only negative is the music which is delivered through some awful tinny Bose system that whines rather than plays music.
