Real English Cream Teas - review added on Wed 14th Apr 2004
It may not be easy to find, but it’s worth the effort to discover this remnant of a bygone era. Everything is immaculate - that's the way Margaret runs the place - right down to the dainty "staff uniforms". Service is leisurely and unrushed even when they are busy, so just come here for the experience of a real old fashioned English cream tea! And the coffee's not bad too. Our visit was in August 2003.
