I and my wife visited Harrogate and had pre-booked a table before leaving home (Derbyshire). To be honest, were were in two minds to go in or not as we thought the lighting was very bright (we wanted a cosy meal). We went in and was seated in a nice part towards the rear. The starter was excellent, but very very pricey for the amount. It went downhill from that point as our sizzling platers came out in a cloud of white smoke - other diners had the same making the kitchen look like it was on fire. The food was welded to the plater and the sauces turned into a gooey sticky tasteless mess. Will not go again - I've had better take-aways.
