Can't Be Missed - review added on Tue 25th Mar 2003
I have been traveling back to Scarborough a couple of times a year my whole life to see my grandparents and a visit is not complete without visit to the Harbour Bar. Try the ice cream floats or warm up with a cup of horlix -- especially good after a early morning fishing trip from the harbour.

Glorious - review added on Wed 16th Mar 2005
It was too cold for a sundae but the real fruit shake with mandarin oranges was sublime and there was too much to fit in the big glass so you get the overflow in a smaller glass - they obviously haven't had the consultants in here telling them how to cut costs! The surroundings are unbeatable and I'm sure if I'd have had the Bovril and biscuits I would have become four years old again - may try that next time.

The harbour bar is a not to be attraction in Scarborough, the best ice cream served by the best staff. From knickerbocker glory's to hot horlicks, even toasted sarnies, all this with a view of the sea!
