Good Food, Authentic Atmosphere. - review added on Fri 11th Jun 2004

This is where we come with friends for a predictably good meal. The food is good, the prices are reasonable and the service is efficient and polite. We usually start with the Peking Duck pancakes - then move on to a variety of meat dishes, noodles and beansprouts. The Singapore noodles are particularly enjoyable. All in all a sound recommendation to those looking for a relaxed atnosphere and decent cuisine.

Good But Nothing Out Of The Ordinary. - review added on Sat 21st Oct 2006

I have visited the Kam Sang many times over many years, and I still say it is the best Chinese restaurant in Scarborough. Unfortunately there arn`t too many Chinese restaurants in Scarborough to compare it with. The quality of the food is good, but is nothing you cannot find in a good quality take-away. The service is again good, and so is the atmosphere. Al in all, if you want a top quality Chinese meal, I think a trip out of town would be the only way to satisfy your pallet. But dont let this put you off, The KamSang is a good restaurant, just not a GREAT one!
