Friendly locals pub with good cheap rooms and home cooked pub food. - review added on Tue 29th Jan 2008
This pub makes an excellent place to crash in central York. Rooms are good value, clean and comfortable. The food offering is also good, home cooked pub food; Steak and chips, Chilli and rice, baked potatos, sandwiches etc... They also do a nice Sunday roast, all at prices that won't break the bank!They have Sky TV on a projecter screen and show football rugby and boxing. They also have a pool table.
