Service comparable to McDonalds - review added on Sat 12th Jan 2002
OK, the food was average to good, and the Hall itself is a fantastic building. This does not even begin to make up for the attitude of both the waiting and managing staff. Seeing a friend of mine have scalding hot coffee spilt on him by a waiter who then ignored him entirely, without even beginning to make an apology was not something i was expecting from this kind of establishment. The pompous, holier-than-thou attitude of the acting manager was an absolute disgrace, particularly given the ignorance he displayed whilst attempting to deal with many simple requests.I would not dream of visiting Hambleton Hall again, if it could possibly be avoided.
