Vegetarian Perfection - review added on Fri 2nd Feb 2001
Elegant restaurant with relaxed, casual ambience which demonstrates that a quality restaurant need not be pretentious or unfriendly. From the tasteful decor to the jazz soundtrack, everything is perfect.Excellent, subtle, vegetarian cuisine reflecting a wide range of world influences. Definitely something for everyone!

Recommended Dishes: 'Bangers and Mash' - lentil and hazelnut sausages served with pesto mash, seasonal vegetables and mushroom gravy. Don't be put off by the unpretentious name of the dish - it is superb. Wash it down with a bottle of Rioja and finish with the exquisite rice pudding.
Poor service - review added on Sun 12th Sep 2004
Well, not usual for me... but came away disappointed. Sad really, as to look at the menu I was pleased to see such a brilliant selection of dishes, and that included a soya coffee. However, having to wait almost 30 mins for a coffee was ridiculous, and waiting, we saw another table leave having lost their thirst! When we did get served, they apologised, they were short staffed, but on a visit to the loo, met a crowd of bored looking staff who thought I came from Mars... won't be visiting again!

Outstanding world cuisine - review added on Fri 18th Mar 2005
This restaurant continues to provide world food of the highest quality in a nook of beautiful Bath. The menu tends to track the seasons and there's invariably a great selection for vegans and those on gluten free diets. The only problem with this place is pacing yourself so that you can make room for desert! Veggie food second to none.
