Great food, forgivable service - review added on Wed 10th Nov 2004
Visited at peak time on a Saturday night, so service was understandably no the greatest. Music was too loud, and after 2 hours of the same 'sax moods' CD on loop, patience began to wear a little thin. However, the negatives aside, the food was spectacular. Classic dishes done with that little bit of flair that make a place memorable. Desert menu left a little to be desired with little choice, particularly for the chocolate lover! Would certainly return... just not on a Saturday night.

Top of the Line Restaurant - review added on Wed 21st Sep 2005
We passed the restaurant on a Wednesday evening, were hungry, and decided to give it a try. The best food west of Gordon Ramsey's London establishments. A very light hand with the saucing and a great menu choice. Music on the loud side, but overall a very nice ambiance, service was good, but the food was the absolute best. If we lived in Bath, it would be our weekly Thursday evening dinner out.
