Thai Food at its Best - review added on Wed 23rd Feb 2000
Don't choose the hot option. That's the main advice I can give even to the adventurous types. I am rather partial to hot food but Thai has a well-deserved reputation for stingingly harsh flavours, and the unwary can find this out at their peril.Having said that, avoid that choice and you will be assailed by lavish and subtle flavours, from the lush peanut sauce of the satay starters to the simple deep fried vegetables, to the vast array of main courses on offer.Desserts were underwhelming, but you should have eaten enough not to bother.
