Fruit Chews (also known as Fruit Caramels) - Fruity chewy cubic sweets, wrapped in those unforgettable wrappers with a fruit depicting the flavour within (and with the silvery bits on the side). So often it's the wrapper you remember - although in this instance, you remember the sweet too, because they're jolly nice!If you're a fan of chewy, and fruity, and you like all things retro and nostalgic, give these babies a go - they're really yummy!

Rowntrees Fruit Gums - An absolute classic that has been around for years and years. Apparently, they're made with real juice (no artificial colours or preservatives), so that makes them all the more delicious!For me, it's the packaging that does it (even though they've changed it slightly over the years). . . one treasured tube would last me. . .oooh. . ..about 10 minutes!

Rowntrees Fruit Gums - An absolute classic that has been around for years and years. Fruit Polos - no - .we didn't think you could still get these either. A real blast from the past in the form of little fruity, poloey, multi-coloured boiled sweets. To celebrate the great Polo, here are some fab bits of trivia for you:Did you know that in Japan the best selling variety of Polo is Plum and Mint flavour? Plum and Mint... eugh.Polos are pressed under the pressure equivalent to two fully grown elephants jumping up and down on them. Ouch.There is a 158ft Polo Tower in Morecambe. We have no idea why!They're called Lifesavers in Australia. That's all for now - anorakky session over for today!

Fruit Rounders - Really fruity little stripy balls that explode with flavour! These fruity little gems are seriously delicious and we're huge fans here at A Quarter Of... not only because they're so totally moreish, but because they're utterly stunning. They're like tiny pearlescent colourful versions of the traditional Bullseyes, only very very fruity!

Fruit Rounders - Really fruity little stripy balls that explode with flavour! These fruity little gems are seriously delicious and we're huge fans here at A Quarter Of... not only because they're so totally moreish, but because they're utterly stunning. They're like tiny pearlescent colourful versions of the traditional Bullseyes, only very very fruity!

Fruit Salad - Aaaah, that unmistakable raspberry and pineapple flavour - so many memories enveloped in that classic yellow and pink wrapper!Think of Choppers, Space Hoppas, the Wombles, long sunny English summer days playing with your friends, and there would always be a trip to the sweetshop and a few Fruit Salads chucked into the little white paper bag!Aaaah, those were the days!

Giant Apple Cables - think apple pencils - and then supersize them. These are approx 24 inches (60cm) long and thick too - and they taste really, really good! We coil them carefully into bags - but they are so long and thick that they might break up a bit in transit/. Doesn\'t affect the taste one bit though - they are absolutely delicious!
