Promoting Your Business
If you own or manage a business which serves food to the general public, then you can promote your business on Review What You Eat! A basic entry in our listings is free - and can be done either through this website, or via the ChefMoz website (click here)
The Chefmoz project has a goal to produce the most comprehensive guide to restaurants, takeaways and other food retailing outlets around the world. We use their UK data for the basis of our website - which is why we don't charge to include new entries. But please be aware that if you include a new entry on Review What You Eat it won't appear in Chefmoz, whereas if you include an entry in Chefmoz then it will appear here, and on other websites around the world.
We aim to include all new (or updated) entries as quickly as possible on the live website. The volunteers at ChefMoz may take some time to include new details on their website and data.
At the moment Review What You Eat is live using Chezmoz data, plus reviews and updates that have been added over the past few months. We are currently observing performance in the major search engines, and working on ideas for the next step of Review What You Eat. Our aim is to allow restaurant, takeaway and other food outlet owners to add an extended entry - including logo, photos, events and menus - and create their own "mini-website" for places to eat that don't already have a website.
Obviously we hope to have this ready as soon as possible, but we're also working on other projects at the same time! Review What You Eat is a what we'd class as a 'fun' project - something we set up because we like to eat out! But if you would be interested in helping test new developments for promoting your business then please get in touch and we'll update you on current developments.
Review What You Eat uses modified ChefMoz data as well as our own - you can add entries direct to ChefMoz via the following links:
