Was looking forward to eating hear on Valentines night Arrived at 19.00 as planned almost empty no atmosphere no flowers or anything special for Valentines night asked for water while we ordered arrived warm! wanted to try the Tiffin but not allowed to as it was in the restaurant well we will go for one Taster and on main course nope not allowed again and we thought it was up to the customer to choose what they wanted! OK we will go into the bar turned out to be very noisy with the bar staff clattering around with cocktails time to go paid for our drinks and left OK Mr Sing you may have won awards but you didnt do yourself any favours this time They didnt have any roses so I will give them some rasps instead

Fabulous!!! - review added on Mon 2nd Feb 2009

This restaurant has been recommended by many friends, but the experience was much better. Imagine Indian with a Scottish twist done in a very modern way, and this is Roti. The waiters are very smart in their black kilts, and as the menu posed difficult choices we were well advised on our final dishes. I will be going back to try their Tiffin menu, Taster menu and Haggis pakora and samosas. The service was pitched just right, as are the prices. We pushed the boat out with water, wine, starters, mains, 3 sides and pudding for 2 of us which cost a very reasonable £82.
