Great Food in a Great Location - review added on Fri 28th May 2004
Recommended to me by a friend from Glasgow, the menu offers a good range of dishes at very reasonable prices.I chose the Warm fillet of Thai Spiced Beef which was perfectly cooked and not overly spicey. My husband splashed out on the Seafood Platter, which he tells me was fantastic - superb selection of fresh seafood, beautifully presented. The staff were very welcoming - we felt that they were really pleased to see us, and they even looked very happy at work, even though it was busy! Service was slick without being too fast.Atmosphere was relaxed, but had a buzz to it.

Good food, poor service - review added on Sun 21st May 2006
We booked a table for dinner on -line on La Bonne Auberge's website. When we arrived they had no note of our booking. They told us to come back in half and hour. We ordered our food and wine, and then we were kept waiting for over 20mins for the wine and a jug of water to arrive. We had to ask 4 times where the wine was. The staff seemed not to care and showed little interest. Our steaks were very good. But the service spoilt the experience for us. I would return.
