Just like Mother Used to Make? - review added on Sun 18th Jun 2000

I have visited this restaurant on many occasions, the food is generally very good. However the "Bangers and Mash"were a revelation, much better than mother used to make (sorry mum!). It was a little bit noiser than normal and access was a bit awkward because the tables had been temporarily rearranged.Overall very enjoyable and filling.

Crap place - review added on Mon 16th Feb 2004

Went there with my girlfriend and ordered (after waiting)two cognacs. One glass was dirty and the staff appeared uninterested. Sat down to eat and ordered scampi. This took a while to get to us and the scampi was still frozen in the middle. All in all shocking - dont go there!!

Don't mind the food, service is slow and prices are ridiculous for what you get.
