Goodbye to Let's Eat. How sad. - review added on Mon 24th Jul 2006
Let's Eat is no longer.....the new owners are fashion driven and produce dull pointless food. Tasteless steak with a teriaki sauce....why?...in Perth?....where you can buy some of the best meat in Scotland. Dinner in late June and the puds were all winter staples like sticky puddings....why no local fruit?...no gooseberry fool etc. This place now has more to do with half-baked immitations of Japanese food than the intelligent use of quality local ingredients the old owners presented. What a pity.

Portion control gone mad - no artistry - mishmash of flavours each overpowering the others. The actual dishes presented were not reflected by their menu description.It is a shame - the price and staffing have stayed at the upper end of the scale shame about the quality and quantity of the food.
