The food wasn't cooked, the staff were arogant towards me and the service was rubbish! We had to wait almost 2 hours for a plain pizza! Overall we had a rubbish evening and considering we went to celebrate a birthday we were extremely dissappointed!

Best dinner! Service was alright as the staff were really helpful. Food was perfect, you should only go to Fatty A's if its your kind of thing! - its a cool place (not 4u then Heva!)

Well I'll tell you from the start I actually work at an ARBUCKLES, as in the company owned restaurants. Fatty Arbuckles are franchises of the company but Heva, if you want to complain, the head office for all the restaurants is Noble House Leisure. I do work in a branch and we have acheived 95% and over on the last ten mystery diner reports. One being 100%. Hope this one experience hasn't put you off visiting other Fattys Arbuckles completely.

I have held 2 of my childrens parties there, and yes granted they didn't go without a hitch but what occasions do ? To be perfectly honest the staff there are absolutely great and I have no bias. We do go for meals there with our 3 young children at least once a month and find that they are extremely tolerant of my noisy, lively young children....on one occasion I had booked for 12 lively 9 year old girls and the staff were amazing. On another I held a party for my 7 year old son and 9 of his lively friends (all wild boys I might add!) this wasn't booked as an official birthday party but only because they don't do them there anymore!I appreciate it can be frustrating when things aren't perfect at special events but surely having good company outweighs any other unforeseeable hiccup ? So far as the food not being cooked I am sure if you had just spoken civily you would have been treated with the same courtesy in return and had the matter rectified with no further adue. Problem is, some people think that because people are paid to do a job, be it waitressing or whatever, that they can speak to them rudely wrong ! Remember these same people are those that have access to your next meal!! We all make mistakes none of us, ever get it all right and people should learn to be a bit more tolerant of others. Had this lady had the right support, friends/family there to assist in taking the pressure off and her concern about the food then the negative feelings she has aboout her incident would not have left such a sour taste in her mouth ...........so to speak!!!!

Fatty Arbuckles is one of the greatest places to eat in the whole of Stevenage. I have never seen so big a burger in my life. The waiters were great. They were especially generous and kind. The food is great and the whole family enjoyed our time out at Fatty Arbuckles! Definately one to go to again!

God Damn, I ain't eva had such a great meal, well apart from when my Gran cooked this real big egg, but that was years ago! Seriously though, it was a very big egg! Now on a more serious note, I can't actualy eat eggs now because they make me impotent for weeks! I love Fatty Arbuckles, the Jack Cheese burgers is tip top! One thing though, you dudes/dudets could open the market for a wider range of people like my self and add eggs to the menu!

The food was the worst i have ever had in my life. The chips were soaked in fat. And the burger was not cooked probably and the service was crappy as well. the people didn't come and ask how the food was. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN.

My family and myself have eaten at Fattys on a regular basis and still do. The service is great, the staff helpful and curtious and it is very child friendly, a rare thing to find in any restaraunt in the UK. If you have had a bad experince put it down to a one off bad day, nobody is perfect, try it again.

Where do I start? I waited forty minutes for my starter, which was cold, as were the fries with my main course. The reheated starter was swimming in grease, the Heinz ketchup was not Heinz and was all congealed at top of bottle (though the staff thought this was perfectly ok). Oh and the bill!

Mmm well i hadn't been to one before and after reading reviews i did orry a bit that service would be bad. however i think this is more down to branch and how busy it is.I went to fatty arbuckles, and rahter enjoyed the atmosphere. The milkshake i had was good value for money, and the food portions were quiet reasonable (though perhaps not as great as some people suggest)Its a nice place to eat but there are 2 small points it lots marks on. Both times i got there my food arrived annoyingly fast. I like to sit aorund for a bit and have a conversation. The food arrived in under ten minutes of ordering. Some people would view this as a good points.The other point i have to say, which made me laugh is the second time i went there i had 3 seperate people, all try and take my food order within (no exageration) a ten second time period.

First the service was disgusting, waited for drinks whilst staff played with hair and chatted. Second the smell from toilets was foul, when meal finally arrived food was cold and greasy burgers with a funny taste, staff were not friendly. Had to pay for meals which we could not possibly eat.
