The food was average and service below average. We sat at our table for 10 minutes before anyone bothered to take our order and then it took over 30 minutes to get the food and it wasn't even very busy at this time. As far as being 'kid friendly', the staff need to recognise the fact that parents can't linger over their food when they have a young baby with them and that the service should be much quicker and more efficient.

Absolutely fabulous! - review added on Mon 10th Feb 2003
A great meal. I tried their potato skins with cheese and bacon followed by the new york strip steak in cajun spices - fantastic meal. Not overcooked and didn't have to wait too long either. They have a great range of deserts, my favourite being, Chocolate waffles with ice cream - perhaps the most tasty desert ever. The staff are always friendly if a little slow to bring the bill at the end of the meal, but then some people most likely sit there to let their meal digest before leaving, and this way they dont feel rushed so it's probably a good thing. Overall, you cant get much better.

We found our experience at the diner great. The menu has an excellent choice to suit everyone, the music is enjoyable, the cocktails are excellent and very tasty. The prices are average and the desserts are to die for!

I stumbled accross this resturant on my way into the city and I am so glad I did. The food was great, the service from all the staff was excellent and the manager on duty took time to say hello and ask about everyone about their meals. I was out to impress my work collegues so a hudge thanks to Ali the manager!

The food is a gastronomical delight, the service is quick and efficient for meals, although the drinks a were bit slow but no worry. Great for kids espescially on Saturday night when the balloon guy comes and there are live bands.

Amazing food. Good choice of cocktails. If anything I left feeling too full. Guge portions, but that cant be classed as a set back, can it?

Superb Eatery! - review added on Tue 9th May 2006
Went for a meal last night, having not been since the 80's when they had the big stuffed bear if anyone remembers that..?Took my girlfriend and had a lovely meal.We had garlic mushrooms and an avacado salad for starters followed by bbq ribs, fries and spicey onion rings which were lovely. Not at all soggy as in some places. Then we shared (battled over) a hot fudge cake and ice cream. The service was first class and friendly. I would reccomend it to anyone for a pleasent, good value slap up meal.We had a starter each, main each, drinks and a dessert and the bill came to £32.00.

Watch your Head ! - review added on Tue 12th Jun 2007
Whilst I enjoyed a great buffet lunch, I ended up cracking my head on a ridiculously placed flatscreen TV positioned....wait for it.....over the table (the table facing the buffet near the Marina Door. The worst thing about this was I did this three times, funny when you see someone do it but the corner of the TV digging into the top of your head makes you jump somewhat.
