Extremely Over Priced - review added on Mon 30th Jul 2007
A meal for 4, including 2 business and 4 soft drinks, 2 naans and 2 beers cost me 72 GBP the other day. Unbelievable!! The food was just about average and in no way worth the demanded fee. On closer inspection, boiled rice cost 3.85 GBP and a cola about 2. This used to be one of my favourite places to eat, but now I will never go near it again. There are so many better places in St Andrews, avoid this one!

Not very good, about average - review added on Mon 30th Jul 2007
They have certainly lost the local vote and seem only to attract the poor tourists and the not so well informed. Any time a celebrity walks through the door they get photographed, other places have more dignity and respect for their customers.
The restaurant is quite simply far too over priced and unexceptional in its food. All the other Indian restaurants in St Andrews are actually much much better in what they have to offer for the price. A meal for 4, including 2 business meals cost me 72 GBP recently. It was shocking day light robbery! On closer inspection a portion of boiled rice (boiled mind you!) cost 3.85 GBP. There weren't very many people in the restaurant on a Tuesday lunchtime when the streets were positively teaming with people, so I assume that word has already got round about the extortion... particularly the locals, of which I'm one. I love Indian food but they're using their premises to over charge poor gullible people walking through the door. It's a disgrace.
