Patak's food - review added on Tue 2nd Mar 2004
Had a meal there in March 2004. The starter had the same flavour as the main even though they were supposed to be different dishes. Not to be recommended to those who like subtle flavours. Hopefully the owner will see this review and get the menu into shape because cutting costs will drive customers away. The popaddums were the best part of the meal. The food is not terrible, but it doesnot taste authentic. Tastes more like Patak's out of a jar curry.

This is the most modern Indian restaurant I have visited and I have been to a few!Decor superb, although I found the staff not as friendly as they could be.Food was great, super fast service - not hurried but no hanging about between courses.Will like to visit again on a theme (Elvis) night.
