Duck, duck, duck! - review added on Wed 9th Apr 2003
There are several East Asian restaurants on Queensway in Bayswater, but even from the outside, Four Seasons is different. It is the only one with a queue outside, EVERY night. How do they do this? The lemming factor perhaps, but they do also do a mean duck. Well-roasted, juicy, tasty, bone-suckingly good (except it's served off the bone for you lazy, uncouth folks). If you manage to get in the door to put your name on the list, you'll probably see a bunch of smiling, duck greased faces all around. Now, it is not a subtle place, my dining partner and I had to share a table (or daptoi as they say in Cantonese), but you go there for eats, not a romantic canoodle. The other dishes we had were pretty good, but duck is where it's at. And there's a hilarious lady who is combination doorperson/takeaway order taker/general sass giver to keep you amused while you wait. No bookings taken so either get there really early, late or hunker down and wait.

Yummy - review added on Tue 2nd Sep 2003
Being a foreigner from Hong Kong, I thoroughly enjoyed the dishes. They were authentically prepared and very fresh. I recommend you make reservations as you'll never get in without them!
