Avoid This Restaurant - review added on Fri 14th Mar 2008

I went to this restaurant last night and I urge you not to make the same mistake. The place is like somebodies attic, small, empty and cold, with the worst service I have ever experienced. Apart from the fact that they played the same song (Enrique Iglesias'Hero') nine consecutive times, the "waitress" stood creepily at the window most of the time watching us eat. The food itself was adequate Chinese food, with starters and main courses nice enough to fill us up. As we were full, we requested to the older gentleman waiter that we would like our desserts to go. He smiled and said "OK". After another two renditions of 'Hero', the waitress served us our desserts. We informed her that we had requested them to go, and the look of disgust on her face was nothing short of baffling. She then proceeded (without uttering a word by the way) to fetch a plastic container, hastily throw our desserts into it (using her hands!), and squashing it all down with the lid to create a revoulting smudgy mess with chocolate hanging out the sides. She then walked away silently. We were shocked, and after paying insecurely with a credit card we left, disgusted and never wanting to return. The "dessert mush" container was left on the steps of the restaurant, as it was inedible. We were appalled by her behaviour, and this middle-aged woman is a disgrace to the restaurant industry. On a final note, the restaurant is worth going to if you desire Coka Cola served with an old strawberry in the glass(?), and/or extremely poor and unsettling service.
