Palatable cuisine - review added on Wed 3rd Dec 2003
I've tried quite a number of dishes on the take-away menu, which I must say is extensive. Most are OK, although some tend to be too salty. The starters are wonderful, my favourite being the stuffed lettuce. The dine-in restaurant upstairs is clean and nicely decorated, lots of space and good for large groups. The staff were wonderful and helpful with recommendations. Price was slightly more expensive than other nearby chinese restaurants. A decent meal for one would cost around 15 pounds. Bookings are recommended for weekend dinners.

I've eaten at the Fortune House a number of times and have had take out and would recommend both. Not sure if the offer is still on but they did have 'All you can eat' for £16.50.

I'm no food critic but... - review added on Tue 20th Feb 2007
I found the takeaway food to be a big disappointment especially when compared to other chinese restaurant takeaway food in cardiff. I found the food to be overpriced, greasy and salty. Not recommended.
