Utterly dreadful - review added on Sun 18th Feb 2007
I recently went to ABode and had the worst meal I have ever been served. The fish option was Coley. Now, a quick search across the internet will reveal few recipes for Coley. This is because it is normally fed only to cats. The rest of the meal was equally terrible, but at least the portions were so small (almost blowing off the plate when the door was opened) that each course could to swallowed, nose held, in one mouthful. ABodes final insult was when the waiter slipped and poured an entire cup of coffee in my lap. Normally this would have been scaldingly painful, but it came as no great suprise that it was barely luke warm.

I visited Abodes at lunchtime on Saturday 7th April 2007 with my wife, daughter and a close friend. We had a very enjoyable and memorable meal, the service was excellent, the food first class and the staff were very polite and attentive.Please keep me informed on Special Nights that you hold.
