The best indian in Bristol - review added on Tue 27th Feb 2007
After searching long and hard for a descent indian restaurant in bristol (I've tried maybe 15) i've finally found a superb one. The Redland Tandoori prides itself on fresh ingredients and using no colourings - this means different dishes may look the same but they can taste completely different. This place has become a real favourite of mine, and it has yet to let me down. Whats more is cheap too, with main courses from less than £5. I'm a vegetarian, so I've not tried their meat dishes, but all the meat eaters I have been there with agree that its the best indian they have ever been too!!

Having moved to Bristol from the middle of nowhere, I must admit I've been dissapointed at some of the dire takeaway (and restaurant) food I've found here. However, the Redland Tandoori is a little gem. Wonderfully helpful and polite staff, delicious food, and very reasonably priced. Takeaway food is just as good as what you get in the restaurant, and I have never had reason to complain about anything (I must have been there 20 times)

lived in Bristol all my life(55 years) discovered this place when I moved into the area 5 years ago.Must be one of best in Bristol.Good Food,Good Wine & Beer (Kingfisher)What more could you want

Been a regular for 5 years. Tried most of the others. Simply the best.

This restuarant has the most amazing curries, I have been going there for years. Fantastic Balti and Paswari nann. Excellent value for money.
