Customer Reviews for Memsahib Eastern Eaterie - Huddersfield

Review added on Mon 22nd Jan 2007

We didn't enjoy our meal at Memsahib as everything seemed to go wrong. We waitied 1 hour for starters to arrive and the poor people who had chosen mixed kebab received a few burnt lumps on the plate and none of the food was very hot. We then waited another hour for the main course to arrive, which came out in dribs and drabs and wasn't very hot either. When we asked if one of the waiters could find out where a missing dish was he just sniggered and then continued to laugh when we complained. The rest of the staff just stood around talking rather than doing things for the customers and we were glad to leave after 3 long hours

Love It! Go Regularly. - review added on Sat 1st Dec 2007

Just had to write something having read the above review. I go to the memsahib regularly and always enjoy it very much. Far from finding the staff rude they seem only too happy to help you and very pleasant. The food has always been spot on. Have never had to wait long for our food either. The set menu is very good value if you are on a bit of a budget too.One thing I would say is that I would definitely prefer to sit downstairs (despite it being very small) as upstairs does seem to lack atmosphere. And slightly off the point but the toilets could do with a bit of updating.
