The Empire Hotel has three restaurants, Watkins and Co., Poolside and Osbourne House (un-checked).I have experience with Watkins and Co. (formal dining) and the Poolside Restaurant (Bistro), however I have not been to the new Osborne house restaurant (elegant bistro).The food is generally of a excentric mix of American and UK food combined. The waiter of the day in the Watkins was David, who provided us with a very attentive service. In the Poolside Gerwyn and Chiara (no longer working there) provided us with a superb service and atmosphere.Watkins and Co. is prices at £32.00 Poolside at £15.00 with some complimentary wine included.
Osbourne house - review added on Mon 26th Jul 2004
visited the restaurant for sunday lunch , the food was superb as were the surroundings , friendly staff and great atmosphere . very enjoyable afternoon . shall be returning very soon !!
