Last time we visited, it was pretty full but they still fitted us in. We had a drink at the bar while they sorted the table, order taken within 5 min of sitting down, all the food cooked fresh, worth the wait. Try the beef shank, new pot's and gravey like mum makes.Easy going staff, nice cosey atmosphere, like two cottages in one.

I recently phoned to book a party for 15 adults and he told me that there was no way that he could send a menu out in post until we payed a deposit! So I told the man I don't really want to pay a deposit if I haven't seen the menu and he said "Oh well then, either look somewhere else or come up and look at the menu"!
