During the 2006 wonder vintage, they created the first wine of the two islands, combining Mario's Cannonau (Chateauneuf's Grenache) with Mirella's rich, volcanic Pinot Nero. The result is a quality match to smart red Burgundy with a uniquely Italian character. Rich, spicy nose with hints of wild herbs. In the glass, it positively oozes black fruit thanks to the Med's abundant sunshine, but the unique treat is the subtle minerality from Mirella's volcanic Pinot Noir!
