Simple peachy and slightly grassy nose with a fresh, clean palate, hints of ripe peach and slight floral tones. Supremely quaffable at a great price. With its jagged coasts, seething volcanos and stony hillsides, Sicily emblemises the Mediterranean but - despite being one of Italy's most important regions in terms of quantity - its quality wines are less well known. That is now changing.
